Rare Visitors
Title:  Rare Visitors
Description:  A gaggle of power idles away on the Canal Line in Plainville on a sunny winter morning. GP40-2LW 519, leased Providence & Worcester GP38 2010, GP40 352, GP40-2LW 501, and GMTX GP40 3109 (wearing a blue dip scheme but lacking Pan Am lettering) compose the lineup. This is the P&W unit's first appearance in Plainville, and seeing two ex-CN widecabs here is a special treat.

NM1 across old Rt15
Title:  NM1 across old Rt15
Description:  Google Earth says this road is now Settlers Way. Not that many years ago it was Rt15. This crossing was rather blind to traffic coming over the crest of the hill behind the camera. If the driver wasn't paying attention or if it was winter and slipery things could get interesting quickly. The conductor was flagging all the crossings because of rusty rail..

NM1 across Rt15
Title:  NM1 across Rt15
Description:  Flagger is out ahead of the locomotive. A few hundred feet ahead and across a couple street crossings is a trackside sign. It simply reads 'South Brewer' and is the only notable evidence that South Brewer once had passenger and LCL freight service.
