Album Info:On this trip to Tulsa, I finally got around to photographing the Frisco 4500, located in the Route 66 Historic Village in SW Tulsa just east of Interstate 244. Also, I went up to Bartlesville and photographed their Santa Fe steam engine, as well as their historic depot, a joint project between the Santa Fe and Katy Railroads. Finally, I went down to Collinsville, where I photographed the Santa Ge Depot and Rock Island caboose there. Enjoy viewing! *UPDATE: March 16, 2018, when I was in Tulsa, I photographed the steam engine at the fairgrounds. #207, it worked for the Dierks Lumber Company. Dierks Lumber owned and operated the Texas, Oklahoma, & Eastern Railroad, so I have tagged the engine as TOE 207. You can find the engine today at the SW corner of the Tulsa fairgrounds. Enjoy!

Santa Fe 940
Title:  Santa Fe 940
Description:  The feature attraction is the ATSF 940, the only survivor of 332 2-10-2 locomotives built for the Santa Fe Railway. (Also, sorry the shot is upside down. It's right-side up on my computer, but this site always shows the photo with the left side of my phone as the bottom, and apparently it was upside down on this shot.)

Santa Fe 940
Title:  Santa Fe 940
Description:  Donated to Bartlesville in 1956, the engine was put on display at Johnstone Park, but flooding from the Caney River damaged it now and then, and it was inaccesible to visitors. In 2008, a group of citizens (including Julie Daniels, the current state senator) decided to move it next to the depot to make it more accessible to visitors. Work was done in December of 2009, and a video can be seen here: http://bartlesvillelocomotive.org/atsf-locomotive-no-940/
