Album Info:I had several days where I had quite a bit of free time this year, so I spent a lot of time heading down to Purcell to watch trains. The station is at the bottom of a hill just east of town, a nice, quiet spot perfect for getting something done while you're waiting around--and more likely than not, you'll see some action while you're there. Always plenty of spaces in the parking lot, too. Enjoy viewing!

Description:  About this time, the train stopped, which made a total of two in the yard. Then, a southbound one arrived and pulled over on a third track, bringing the total up to three. Then, I noticed a fourth one, a northbound freight which had come to the stop well south of the yard! This held pat for a while before the lead one on the main track finally pulled out.
