Album Info:FEC operates 351 miles of mainline track from Jacksonville to Miami, Fl. & is the only railroad along Florida's east coast. Combined with their interchange with 2 Class 1 railroads NS & CSXT in Jacksonville, Fl. & CSXT in Miami & other points along the FEC system. FEC provides a vital link between Florida & the nation's rail net`ork. FEC offers the most direct & efficient North/South option for transporting fruight & has a competitive advantage due to the highly congested roadways in South Florida. FEC transports an attractive freight mix of both intermodal containers & trailers. Carload traffic ranges from crushed rock, to automobiles, to other food & industriam products.
