The last train to traverse these rails was back in the summer of 1983. Some 26 years ago. And the main still lingers as a reminder at Kerper.

Again you can see where at one point the TT had a siding here. This was Meyers siding that ran between Kerper and Meyers. You can see indentatiions of ties on what wld have been the siding at Kerper.

another view of the TT Maumee river bridge. The last train over this bridge back in 1983 derailed on the east end of the bridge. That was it. Railroad deemed it too costly to repair. She has been dormant for the past 26 yrs.

Bates tower in 2009. They called this the tower of 9 lives. As it was closed and reopened several times before finialy taken out of service in the mid 80s.

Looking towrds Hallett, the DT&I wye is off to the upper left, the main in the middle, the AA wye next to the right of the main and a unused industry spur off to the right. The old SB main now diverges into the NB main.

Looking North, this is "Fitch" once a crossing with the Toledo and Western inturban. The TT serviced several industries here at one time. Notice the NB main is gone and a siding at.one time too. NB main was intact untill 1988 or so.
