Album Info:I was employed as engineer at the U.S.Rail Smart Paper operation from 2007 until the mill closed in 2012. As a child in the 70s I got my first cab ride here. This year I ran the last train out of the plant. This is the good, the bad, and the ugly, and everything in between.

Description:  With the GMRY 783 and boxcar 409 loaded with spare ties, Conductor L. Hubbard and myself get one last shot in the mill. First train came in in Nov. 1898. We were the last one out Feb.29, 2012. No train would ever run on these rails again.
