End of the End of the Line
Title:  End of the End of the Line
Description:  The WSOR served a co-op just south of here until a couple years prior to this photo, when it ceased receiving rail service. The rails were removed from the crossing of State Highway 28 a few blocks sorth. South of there, they continue to serve a cannery (Seneca Foods) and Mayville White Lime on the line from Iron Ridge.

Description:  With my parents posed in front of it. The depot has been redeveloped into a strip mall housing several professional offices and commercial outlets. The track has been out of service since 1998, and although it doesn't look bad here apart from the rusty rail tops, it becomes heavily overgrown on the other side of the crossing to the right.

Description:  This line ran by the passenger depot on Pennsylvania Avenue. Only a few hundred yards at the north end are still used to serve as a spur for one customer. Parts of the line are removed, while others are rusty and overgrown like this. At right is a partially dismantled Griswold rotating stop sign crossing signal.

Description:  Overgrown tracks pass behind the box, but the rails have been removed from the crossing and the street repaved. Until a few years ago, Griswold crossing signals similar to those at Union Avenue stood here. Those have vanished as well.
