The remains of the Carter Bunk House
Title:  The remains of the Carter Bunk House
Description:  The Carter Bunk house was sold by the railroad to be used as a camp in the 1940s. It was moved about 15 feet away from the tracks but in the same location. It served it's new function for many decades before falling into disrepair and being torn down in 1995. The contents and some of the wood still remain.

Second Carter Station
Title:  Second Carter Station
Description:  About 100 feet away from the foundation is this unassuming shed. This was the second Carter Station. It was placed at the edge of the original station's foundation as a simple shelter and flag stop to serve out the end of passenger service. When its use as a railroad building ended it was moved here to be used as an outbuilding to one of the nearby camps. Reportedly the inside of the building is covered in wainscoting just like a regular railroad station.
