CSXT'S Atlanta Division Boyles Terminal Sub
Description:
CSXT Northbound Local Freight Train A734 ( Birmingham to Talladega Turn ) passing through Birmingham, Al. on their way back from interchanging with EARY in Talladega, Al. The distraction to the left of A734 is NS 345 that made an appearance before A734 got into my cameras range, I usually don't like getting photos of meets because it usually creates shadows on the other train & blocks your view from the other train, but in this case it worked out fine, generally I just like the one train I'm photographing in my shot, but sometimes a photo of a meet between trains can be cool

CSXT Southbound Freight Train Q685 ( Nashville, Tn. to Waycross, Ga. ) has just departed Boyles Yard in Tarrant City, Al. with a pair of EMDX SD70ACe Demonstrators for power that CSXT is testing for a possible SD70ACe purchase in the near future, ATN tested these same units in late 2012 & were sent west to a testing facility for more testing, then were sent back east to be tested on CSXT
