A nice surprise was to find the 4017 powering this move as one of our Brakemen call out moves to the engineer. They have coupled this cut of containers to the coaches 4214 dropped, officially making this a mixed freight. 4017's Burachatra shows nicely in this photo! . |

SRT 150109PHY |
Description: |
A good look at one of SRT's diminuitive European type wagon top box cars, now officially sidelined in 'company service'. This one has SRT report marks both in thai and the old name for the SRT, or, R.S.R. [Royal State Railways {of Siam} ]. There are a great many of these defunct cars to be found all over SRT property as they're perfect storage sheds. As with US roads, there are almost no boxcars still in service, and those I've seen are very few and of a longer, more modern 2 truck type. |

Straight-on view of the 3121. Judging by the double sheath cab roof, downward pointing horns and sealed headlights, [NOT Gyralights, I checked 'em!] I would have to say the series is optimised for operations through heavy downpours..and the crews who manned them, probably all suffering from premature hearing loss??? |

On March 26, 2015 SRT 4302 was involved in a rear end collision with a standing train at Ban Phatchi Junction north of Bangkok. At this time not sure if it will return to service or be scrapped. Description: |
SRT AD24C 4401 stops at Bangsue. This unit is the first member of the last order for AD24's from SRT. It was built in 1985, and seems to have a different red 'marker light' treatment from her sister units, being much smaller than usual. |
