Description:  This is a beautiful looking switcher with its while washed rims and stylish lines. Built by Lima Locomotive Works in May of 1924 (bldr #6869), it was a member of the U-3b class U-3b. After serving less than 30 years, it was sold for scrap to Luntz Iron & Steel Co on 7/24/1952. Prescott photo

Description:  Here is another Lima built switcher delivered in June of 1925 (bldr #6944). It was in the class U-3c and according to the info on the back of the photo, it had 51" drivers, developed a boiler pressure of 175 psi for its 25"x28" cylinders, and generated a respectable tractive force of 50,000 lb. It evertually was sold for scrap to Luntz Iron & Steel Co on 9/18/1952. Prescott photo
