Old bridge |
Description: |
The Dead Horse Gulch bridge has not been used in many years, but still stands as a reminder of the rougher days of operating the WP&Y. |

Odd car |

Somehow it seems odd that a narrow gauge line would have something so heavy duty as a depressed center flat. Yet here it is in Skagway. |

Classic coach |
Description: |
The White Pass had a lot of these cars. Dont know the heritage, or how old they really are, though they do resemble the Lackawanna's Boonton cars. All carry names as well as numbers. They are reasonably comfortable to ride in. |

Covered wagon of a sort |
Description: |
WP&Y has two types of power. It is most well known for its Alco DL 535s, a model unique to the White Pass. It also has a stable of these full body GEs, such as this set pulling from the docks at Skagway. They are classed by GE, according to my Kalmbach Diesel Rosters book, as GEX 3341, and were built at various times between 1954 and 1966. |
