Album Info:Here is a six-page article by Mr. Sy Reich entitled "Rollcall of Pennsy Electrics." It was published originally in the October 1962 issue of "Railroad" magazine, pages 28-33, and includes 11 official PRR photos. Mr. Reich writes that "With typical Pennsy thoroughness, before ordering any electric locomotives, they conducted a series of tests [during 1905] to arrive at the best design. When you consider the relatively short length of electrification and the small number of locomotives required, compared to the vastness of the Pennsy's empire, you can appreciate the genius of those pioneers."
