Album Info:CSX Albany Division Mohawk Subdivision QC 177.6 - Amsterdam Station (Amtrak) Amsterdam, New York, USA 23 July 2016 - 16:33 EDT CSX K635 had to take the Amsterdam Siding to allow two eastbounds through: Q374 on Track 1 quickly followed by Q004 on Track 2. When the dispatcher has got to clear tracks in a hurry, send stuff in the same direction on two tracks! Earlier, we had oistened to the NC/ND dispatcher talking about congestion in and around Utica. Problem solved. With the tracks clearer, it was time to speed K635 west. And with an approaching thunderstorm, the western sky was getting ominous.
