It's October of 2015 along the deadlines of Larry's Truck and Electric facility in Lordstown, Ohio. Eight ex-ATSF/BNSF GP35Us and GP30Us rest together. They are now all under the ownership of LTEX. A sad scene at Metalico Scrap in Brier Hill, Ohio in this March 27, 2017 photo. CSX C40-8s made up the majority of the pile, however, on the top of the pile was Dakota Minnesota and Eastern #6365 (SD40-2; City of Wolsey). DME #6365 was built in May of 1974 as Milwaukee Road #204. All of these units were trucked here from Larrys Truck and Electric (LTEX)- |
