Built by EMD in 1949 as CNW 4073A, it was later renumbered 418 and mainly used in Chicago area passenger service. Acquired by$NJ Transit as an extra locomotive for the Hoboken Division in the 1980s, it was later donated to the URHS and moved to the Black River & Western for restoration. After quite a few decades of stosage at both Lambertville and Ringoes, it will now be moved to the URHS restoration facility at the former DL&W West Boonton Yard. |
