Album Info:I enjoyed some time well spent trackside along Pan Am's district 3 - the scenic west end of the railroad. I encountered 4 freights plus Amtrak's southbound Vermonter over the space of about 5 hours.

Description:  The Greenfield "Tunnel" is actually an arch underpass beneath Main Street through the Greenfield, MA business district. It has buildings built over it on both sides of Main Street. Motorists driving along Main Street never see the tracks beneath.

Description:  RJED is waiting for a meet with the combined Grain / EDRJ train. These two units are part of a recent 20-unit purchase by Pan Am of used ex-CSX power from General Electric. They're the first GE units under Pan Am ownership in many a year. Railfans have already dubbed the paint shceme "NOT CSX". I'm hoping they'll get a blue dip to Pan Am livery soon.
