Album Info:Here is a five-page article by Mr. Hamilton Peltz entitled "Highballing The Pennsylvania Special." It was published originally in the April 1972 issue of "Railroad" magazine, pages 28-32. "The 'Pennsylvania Special' made its first run over the Pennsylvania Railroad from Jersey City to Chicago on June 18, 1905, and its last run under that name on November 24, 1912. Next day its successor, the 'Broadway Limited,' began its fabulous career over the same route. This fact-story, written by a star reporter nearly 67 years ago, is reprinted from 'The New York Herald' of July 16, 1905." (Page 28)
