Description:  Originally built in 1913 as a tender for the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific 2-8-2 #2752, it was rebuilt in 1957 into a snowplow. It eventually was sold to the SSW and then donated to the National Museum of Transportation.

Description:  This is the heaviest snowplow ever built weighin in at 367,000 lb. It was necessary to push this snowplow with 3 or 4 locomotives as the turbocharged diesel engine/electric generator drove the cutting wheel. It now resides at the National Museum of Transportation.

Title:  UTLX 14387 - Union Tank Line Tank Car
Description:  Built in 1910 by the Union Tank Line, this is one of the earliest examples of tank cars. Unfortunately it was prone to leaking due to the method of construction. Later modifications took care of the problem. Now the car is on display at the National Museum of Transportation.
