Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5253, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in July of 1948 after 31 years of faithful service. Description:  Flattley. Here is a photo by T. Martin Flattley, Jr., that was taken in Summerdale, Pennsylvania, on 10 March 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6758, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata as an M-1A during June of 1930, rebuilt as an M-1B in December of 1948, and retired in February of 1958 after 28 years of faithful service. In this context, it's about to enter Enola Yard with a mixed-cargo freight train. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
