Today Nick is in Logansport with his family for the next 2 weeks, so I headed over to Logansport to do some fanning with him and Ethan. Last night TPW parked a train on the Bringhurst Branch (line that passes through Clymers) and the goal was to get that moving, but they put a crew in in too late and we never ended up catching it moving. But we were able to get some nice shots with the bridge over the Wabash River! |

After Ethan and I were finished shooting the local, we hightailed over to Sycamore to meet Nick again. NS 20A had stopped in the pass at Sycamore for a meet with 21T. Of course, Nick doesnt have a decent enough camera to shoot it as far away as it was from us, but he tried anyway. I also didnt have my external flash at the time which also made my photo look like crap. |

Not sure why this one was super bright. Probably since the container has no real headlights. Nick, as smart as he his, decided to try to run down to the end of 21T to shoot the Wabash again (since it began moving as soon as the last cars of 21T cleared Sycamore) and believe it or not, he actually made it with about a second to spare. Crazy to do that for a heritage unit. Anyways, this was our final train of the day. Slow day, but a good day to say the least. Till next summer! |
