Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4315 and #4258. Both are I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapods" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #4315 was constructed as an I-1S during December of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in July of 1941, and retired in October of 1959. #4258 was built as an I-1S during July of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in September of 1942, and retired in September of 1959. |

Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4315 and #4258. Both are I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapods" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #4315 was constructed as an I-1S during December of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in July of 1941, and retired in October of 1959. #4258 was built as an I-1S during July of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in September of 1942, and retired in September of 1959. Note the Fireman along side the locomotive; he's just uncoupled the second tender from the train so that the locomotives can proceed to the Watering Point. |
