Album Info:Here are 20 photos of Pennsylvania Railroad diesel-electric locomotives utilized for freight service. All of them were purchased via eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Tim Rose: one on 12 July 2020 and six on 24 August 2020. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when specified on the slide mount. Most of the slide mounts are annotated "Al Roberts Collection."

Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania on 9 November 1967. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2415, an AF-24A built by the American Locomotive Company in September of 1963 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. This locomotive was built from Alco RS27 demonstrator #640-1 and was the only C424 on the PRR. ("Stoneborobranch"; #3 of 20)

All were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #9700 is a BF-15A built in April of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. All were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #9710 is a BF-16 built in December of 1950, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966. Also visible at the far left is the front end of an unidentified PRR EP-20 passenger locomotive; at the far right are Wabash Railroad F-7 #1165 (built by GM-EMD in June of 1950) coupled to an unidentified PRR EF-15A.
