Page 2, Bottom Photo Caption: "The GG1 of 1937 ~ a Pennsylvania Railroad giant." Shown here is PRR engine #4843, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata during May of 1935 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. On page three is a "Foreword" by the PRR's 11th President, Mr. Martin Washington Clement, who occupied that office from 1935 through 1948. |
