Album Info:In some large cities (Milwaukee, Columbus), the grand depots that once graced the city have been torn down, their real estate more important to those that live in it than their history. Thankfully, Des Moines is not one of those. In fact, no less than three of its former stations are still standing! None of them are still used for passenger service, but the city is definitely growing, so who knows? Anyway, enjoy a view of the historic stations from the city where the S's are silent, but the city is buzzing!
