Description:  nee-RDG FP7s pose in this non-staged shot next to Slateford Junction Tower. Slateford Jct. Tower, which controlled the junction with the Old Road, remained in operation until January, 1951, when its operation was transferred to East Stroudsburg (PA) Tower, about six miles (10 km) west. The Lackawanna Cutoff was amost entirely dismantled shortly after Conrail took it over from the EL.
