Description:  Here we have a manifest sitting just south of Missouri Valley. I thought it was waiting to go West to switch North to Sioux City. Soon another train (also a manifest) would pass this one and head West itself. So either this is a lower priority or it's waiting to go East.

My Wife Saw It First....
Title:  My Wife Saw It First....
Description:  She was driving and saw movement in a line of trees bordering the CN(IC) line. Soon thereafter the crossing signals activated. This is the lead unit of the 2x daily CN manifest from Fort Dodge IA to Council Bluffs and back. What is truly exciting is that usually this train runs in the dead of night. So this was a treat and in fact the start of a great drive home.
