Album Info:CNW 8646 led the daily MBUVP (Butler, WI to Valley Park, MN manifest) on Tuesday afternoon. The weather was hot, with scattered showers and lots of clouds. In the forty miles between Butler and the end of my chase at Clyman Jct., I encountered a locally heavy thunderstorm west of Mapleton and saw another to the north at Clyman. Thus this train was photographed in bright sun and in the rain. It took the siding at Clyman and waited for its eastbound MVPPR - Valley Park to Proviso manifest. The wait of over an hour was worth it to shoot this train under the coaling tower at Clyman Jct. See the last two shots! The shots are presented in sequence as the train proceeded west. Show three columns to see the entire sequence on one page.
