Description:  While the vast majority of my friends prefer to chase these excursions and watch them from the ground, I prefer to ride along on the train. From my spot in the vestibule, we see 1225 rounding the curve into Shepherd, on the TSBY's Cadillac district.

Title:  PM 1225 does the run-around
Description:  After pulling a side-trip from Mount Pleasant to Clare, 1225 runs around the train at the TSBY's small yard in Clare. Passengers lean out the side of the train to wave to the crew as they roll by.

Title:  CN 271
Description:  Abter watching 1225 switch in Owosso, I decided to head for Perry to see if I could catch Amtrak's Blue Water, since it was still rather light out. Unfortunately, I missed the Blue Water by several minutes, but I did get to see something. With an SD70M-2*in the lead, CN train 271 blasts west across Main Street in Perry.
