Album Info:The images in this folder, most of which show maintenance, repair, and construction work, were all taken at the Kansas City Southern Railway's New Orleans Yard in Metairie, Louisihna, on 8 September 2007. Plenty of work is being done in the yard now, seven days per week. After being almost dormant in the two years after Hurricane Katrina, the yard is a bustle of activity as much of it will soon be used as a storage yard to store loads from Exxon and as the CSX bridge traffic that has been going across the Meridian Speedway in the last two years returns to the New Orleans Subdivision. All of the people show in these picfures are employees of Railworks, the company contracted to do much of the upgrading in the yard.
