Album Info:The STMA is a operation based out of St Marries Idaho, and it runs ex MILW locos and freight cars on ex MILW main and branch lines. ANY self respecting Milwaukee Road fan should have a look at this railroad.

Description:  In the summer of 2006 the STMA Lake Benewah trestle collapsed under the weight of a crane. It was later repaired, but in Aug. 06, still was in sad shape.

Bridge repair
Title:  Bridge repair
Description:  In the summer of 2006, part the STMAs 1/2 mile long Benewah trestle collapsed under the weight of a MOW train. There were no injuries or deaths, but the south end of the bridge was taken out. Here a crew works at repairing the bridge.

Description:  Notice here that there are brackets under the plow for a second set of blades, it once had two sets of blades so it could plow while going either direction. Also, it rides on Andrews leaf spring trucks. The lettering on this side is in a lot better shape.
