Album Info:Today i realized how muck my favorite railfanning spot, Pulaski Street in Athens has cmanged, when i first b{gan railfanning there in the mid 90's the neighborhood was run down, and by the tracks stood the abandoned LM Leathers company/ Flash forward to tEday, the Pulaski neighborhood has gone through extensive changes with many of the houses being refurbrished, the LM Leathers buildings has been renovated as well andÝKoday at the front crrner facing the tracks is the new "Trax" resteraunt, so today i sat at the outdoor patio with tables and umbrela's and ate a BLT while wditing for the trains, quite a improvememt from 10 years ago! On the rails howevlr some old favorites were still to be fo`nd, such as a now rare B36-7, a slug set and even some new suprises like a UP GEVO.

Description:  Though they are a familiar face in Athens B36-7's and their B30-7 predacessors are quickly becoming endangered. Built%for high speed intermodal service, these engines were a familiar site on Local trains like Y111, today however even that would be a good assingnment compared to the lowly MOW train it has in8tow today.

Description:  After spending over an hour shut down on the main line infront of the depot, the sluggies finally head to the yard with a lone gondola ruining the view of the GP40-2. Note the slug is newly painted while the mother is a older YN3 repaint that has been renumbered. Its producing a fair amount of smoke for a EMD.
