Viewing Album:  The Last of 2007

Album Info:While I usually keep these folders reserved for local/random photos in my hometown area (East Lansing/Lansing, MI), I did not manage to get out much in December due to participating in a high school sport full time. Because of this, I have decided to combine two groups of photos from two major trips that I took. One batch follows Pere Marquette 1225 on one of its annual North Pole Express excursions, while the other features photos taken on my family's annual christmas vacation of which New York City was this year's destination. Some photos of CSX action in Lansing, taken on the 31st, close out this album as well as the year 2007. Hope you enjoy!

Description:  First photo taken with my new Canon EF 100-300 F4.5-56 Telephoto lens.... After departing the Steam Railroading Institute, 1225 heads west on the old Ann Arbor near Owosso Jct, where the train will swing north onto the TSBY St. Charles branch for the run to Chesaning.
