Description: |
This was a combination station built for the Bellefonte Central RR in 1930. Passenger trains run to here from Bellefonte until 1946, and freight service ended in 1974, when tracks from Bellefonte were removed. A special train ran to the Penn State campus in 1953 when President Dwight Eisenhower visited Penn State to see his brother who was PSU's president at the time. This station is now used as a bus terminal. |
