M&O, GM&O, ICG, Gulf & Mississippi, MidSouth and now the KCS.

819/810
Title:  819/810
Description:  Since their main customer was bought out by a competitor only to purposely be shut down, the GTRA has fallen on hard times. Prior to that, the GT would come to Columbus daily with sizeable trains and leave with the same. Now, they only come to Columbus every other day with shorter trains and at times, as in the case with this photo, return with nothing.

GTRA 819
Title:  GTRA 819
Description:  GTRA 819 heading back with two engines, three loaded tank cars and five spacer cars between each. The GTRA G-1 is on the other end. This is viewed from the new HWY 45 South overpass. If you had tried this on the old one odds are you'd been smeared by the ubiqitous southern log truck. It's possible and safer to do now.
