Here's a picture I took of the only Bessemer & Lake Erie train I ever caught (I did see it arriving too)! It was southbound empty coal train in Conneaut, Ohio, 5-29-2004 (shortly after CN purchased)! I was on a trip with Dad (RCJ I) to Eastern Ohio & Pennsylvania photographing trains! Now, CN has recently replaced the Bessemer road locomotives with some other ones! There's only one (as of 10-2015) of these SD40T-3 engines left working there, #905! There are still SD38s working the ore docks though! I still would like to return someday!!!! These signals were the last manually operated semaphores in the nation, raised and mowered by mechanical levers in the shack. They displayed the signal aspects that were needed.
