Album Info:In the seventies shortlines would have large fleets of box cars that would be leased to bigger railroads to make a profit. Most have wound up in larger fleets (and shorter railroads) like EEC & the H&S. This album is entirely devoted to colorful, rusty, faded,and graffitized box cars. No boring oxide red box cars in this album.

Title:  HS 72382
Description:  This green box car once belonged to the Marinette, Tomahawk,& Western (MT&W) Railroad. It ran a 13 mile railroad in Wisconsin to Tomahawk where it served a Georgia Pacific mill as well as a dam near by. The trackage is now the Tomahawk railroad.

EEC 3139
Title:  EEC 3139
Description:  This faded green boxcar used to belong to the Berlin Mills Railway, which ran a railroad in (where else?) Berlin, NH at the Brown Company paper mill and was extended to the Brown Comapny mill at Cascade NH. It was replaced by the StL&A Railroad in the 1990s.
