Loon Mountain #42
Title:  Loon Mountain #42
Description:  Loon Mt #42 is a narrow gage 0-4-0T Industrial Locomotive of Germanic origin that operates as a shuttle betwee the parking lot and the main lodge at Loon Mountain Ski Area east of Lincoln, NH. Gage is 600 mm, which you might say is the metric version of 2-foot gage. (600 mm converts to 23.6 inches) It runs back and forth on about a half mile of track. Builder is listed as Buscher & Sohn. The engineman on duty at the time of my visit allowed me to ride in the cab with him.
