Album Info:CBRail, later owner of Crossrail AG, was established in 2004 as a rolling stock leasing company and was property of the global investment and advisory firm Babcock & Brown from Australia. In 2007 Crossrail and Ewals Cargo Care have reached a long term co-operation agreement for freight forwarding operation in Germany and Italy. Crossrail and Dillen & Le Jeune Cargo (DLC) joined forces in late 2007. In 2009 Le Jeune Capital & Partners took over 80%. It has two daughter companies in Belgium and Italy. A recapitalization of the company is 2009/10 under way. The rail transport company Crossrail AG itself, with headquarters in Muttenz near Basel (Switzerland) is concentrating on rail traction services on the Swiss trans-alpine corridors of Gotthard and Loetschberg/Simplon among Italy, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Description:  Rented from Alpha Trains, Crossrail use two TRAXX units for hauling a T.T.S. intermodal train from Antwerpen (Belgium) to Novara (Italy) over the Lötschberg-Simplon route diversion. The standard Gotthard route is closed for some days because big stones came down on the track (happely without any train accident) and a rock head had to be blasted away to prevent more disturbance of the important European north - south connection.
