Album Info:It seems like this replacement of the platforms at the BWI Amtrak Station has been going on for years. In the project the northbound platform is now nearly twice as long as before & now matches the train length the southbound platform. The work is almost done, with just 100 feet or so of the northbound platform left to finish. It sure looks nice. A clean up and or coat of paint on the walk over structures would top it off. Dirty cement, looks well a lot like dirty cement. Im sure MARC and the State of Maryland has been a player in this project, as it began well before the current economic situation pushed dollars Amtraks way.
