Album Info:The Lafayette Branch was moving several hundred cars per month during the summer in 1994. NS even spent time brush cutting and doing upkeep on the branch. Here, the turn runs through Opelika on CSX trackage raghts and turns on the Lafayette Branch proper at Roanoke, Jct, a couple miles to Šie north. STAND CLEAR--On-Track brushcutters follow the Turn through the junction. The heavy duty blades destroy what they cannot cut, and woe be unto the passerby that gets close enough to be hit by flying tree trunks!
