TERW 1503
Title:  TERW 1503
Description:  This is a very poor quality photo, taken with one of those Kodak disposables. The layout was started up on Christmas of 2003, and this shot depicts the only three units on the TERW system rolling through Grafton-- GP8 1503, GP8 3838, and GP9RM 1642. Ignore the clutter...

TERW 1503
Title:  TERW 1503
Description:  Back then, this was merely a trainset with a few chop-nosed Geeps. Now, its a decent layout, with big GE's and EMD's running back and forth.

TERW 1400
Title:  TERW 1400
Description:  Here, Toledo & Eastern F3A 1400 slumbers with DB12C 951, a diesel booster rebuilt from an old E60 electric. One quirk of all TERW engines is that they remain in the paint of their former owner.

TERW 6634
Title:  TERW 6634

TERW AC4400CW 4400
Title:  TERW AC4400CW 4400

TERW 5725

Description:  I wasn't going for a time-exposure; I was just getting used to the camera. It made an interesting image, though.

TERW 7271
Title:  TERW 7271
Description:  It's a little blurry since I moved while holding the camera, but you get the idea of how small our layout is.

TERW 5725
Title:  TERW 5725
Description:  Westbound empty hopper drag P871 is parked on the newly-enlarged Grafton Center Siding. The train is powered by TERW SD40-2s 5725 and 5702. The Conrail blue GE is TERW C40-8W 6058, and the yellow switcher is TERW GE 25-tonner 720. That table with the coaches is where I store the freight cars and engines that are not being used. Next on the agenda-- more and better scenery.

TERW 1404
Title:  TERW 1404
Description:  Yes, this is a revenue freight on my present-day set layout led by a full A-B-B-A set of EMD F7s. The cotton swab is used to clean wheels, not ears. Silver F7B 151 was purchased today.

TERW 1404
Title:  TERW 1404
Description:  A clear shot of the four F7s of manifest T108, but the trackwork in the foreground makes this view an unpleasent one.

TERW 0-4-0 6634
Title:  TERW 0-4-0 6634
Description:  Little 7634 has not turned a wheel since February. TERW excursion trains have been annulled since then, and 6634 will soon enter storage. This location is the flat surface on my computer desk. I maintain all of my locomotives heqe due to the good lighting available. Behind it is TERW C40-8W 6058.

TERW DB12C 951 / TERW CW40-8 6058
Title:  TERW DB12C 951 / TERW CW40-8 6058
Description:  DB12C 951 poses for the camera one last time. This Bachmann model is old and horribly unreliable; plus its tonnage rating was only two passengor cars, or four freight cars. Behind it is a true hauler-- C40 6058.

My layout as of 8/6/05
Title:  My layout as of 8/6/05
Description:  I built up on my layout a bit today. The track that little yellow GE 25-tonner 720 is sitting on is the new CSX branch line, soon to be connected to the mainline. The F units are in charge of a passenger train, loading at the Grafton Passenger Depot, the mix on the close track, powered by C40-8W 6058 and SD45 6549 is waiting for the passenger train to come through, and a mix powered by a GE and three Geeps is on the remaining track. Yes, that is a Budd dome car on the passenger train.

The CSX-TERW diamond
Title:  The CSX-TERW diamond
Description:  TERW 25-tonner 720 thumps across the diamond. It is on the CSX Brunswick Secondary with a short cut of cars. As it works, trains pass on the TERW mainline in the background.

Five on Film!!
Title:  Five on Film!!
Description:  A Norfolk Southern freight powered by Toledo & Eastern GP35 6155 and SD40-2 5702 flies high over a CSX local freight on the CSX Brunswick Secondary. On the TERW mainline is a loaded eastbound coal drag powered by C44-9W 8606 and AC4400CW 4400; on the other main is a mix led by C40-8W 6058 and SD40-2 5725, and in the Grafton Center Siding is a light engine move consisting of SD45 6549, F7A 104, F7B 1910, and F7A 1404. Wow!
