Album Info:The Chicago South Shore & South Bend is one of nation's oldest, if not THE oldest, continuously working interurban left. It has been through several owners but continued service the entire time from its earliest beginnings as Chicago & Indiana Air Line Railway chartered in December 1901 and service began between East Chicago and Indiana Harbor in 1903. The East Chicago station was renovated in 2005 with high level platforms to assist passengers with disabilities, and to decrease station dwell times.
