CP 2811 at St.Luc |
Description: |
LUCKY DAY ! I rode the cab of the H1b Hudson from St.Luc engine terminal to the Glen engine terminal as a light engine movement. The 4-6-4 was in freight service but was moved to Glen to head an excursion on Easter Sunday 1960. |

CANADIAN PACIFIC G1s 2219 |
Description: |
CP Pacific 2219 was built by the CP's Angus Shops in 1910. The Pacific was fifty years old when I photographed her at Smiths Falls, Ontario on Easter Sunday 1960. You won't find a better looking 4-6-2. She was scrapped a year latter. The end of CP steam activity was only months away but you could still find clean engines that looked like someone cared. |
