Viewing Album:  CVSR Ballast Extra with a lot of twists.

Album Info:There was a delay in the delivery of the train, and then we had a storm like I've never seen in 63 years. It got every bit as dark as midnight, but it was 6:30 PM. Some areas received as much as 6 inches of rain in a half hour on Monday evening. The ballast train made an attempt at coming from Canton to Akron. Washouts were expected and seen. One forced the crew to stop their journey. The 2 GP35s cleared it, but the cars did not. Work was well underway when I got there today and some of the area was inaccessible to me.
