Album Info:A collection of photos of CRYO-TRANS reefers. On Tuesday 7/19/2011 I realized that all of these cars have names on their doors. I found it to be quite interesting. /// Update (May 31, 2012): I've noticed that not all of these reefers have a name, in fact the more of them I see lately, fewer of them are named.

Description:  These cars used to be named; and that's how I would title the photos of these cars. But the more of these CRYO-TRANS reefers I see, the fewer names I see. This is also the first time I've seen that Cornerstone logo on these cars.

Description:  I'm seeing fewer and fewer of these CRYO-TRANS reefers these days for two reasons. One, I don't think they're naming them anymore and two, Birds Eye frozen foods closed in Fulton, NY. Birds Eye used to receive these cars from CSX before closing in late 2011. Seen here at precisely 18:03 EST this car is part of CSX train Q393.

Description:  "BEVERLY" is the first car on local CSX train B769 this morning (07:43). "She" was cut-out of a string of hoppers in order to be spotted at the Americold warehouse. After that the crew will reverse back to their train and head for Baldwinsville to switch some cars around at Budweiser.

Description:  Thanks to fellow contributor Max Smith, I learned that CSX has recently resumed service at Americold. CSX local train B769 switches these reefers at Americold on the Baldwinsville-sub. Here we see the train tied-down just south of the NYS route 31 crossing in Baldwinsville.
