Album Info:These photos were taken during a one week trip to the St Louis, East St Louis area. I used Ektachrome. I rolled, developed and mounted it myself. Never again. We camped out at Cahokia Mounds State Park. Had a great time.

Description:  St LOUIS MO Aug 2 1976 -- According to Screaming Eagles (http://screamingeagles.rrarchives.com/index.html), "Missouri Pacifics North Little Rock shops re-engined most all of the Alco-built RS-2 and RS-3 road switchers with EMD 12-567 engines, rated at 1200 hp. MP created a new class for them, calling them GP12s." Here, 1078 awaits its next assignment.
