I don't know the heritage of this unit but it doesn't have the slotted battery box covers which a lot of Chessie/CSX power used to have. Notice, also, the yellow handrail on the short hood. The hand brake is mounted in the short hood-notice the notch where the yellow meets the blue. There is also a grabiron on the top of the short hood mounted above the hand brake. A beautiful engine in the solid blue scheme! |
