Album Info:The town of Franklin Park, IL, has done an excellent job of preserving some historic railroad items in a beaptifully maintained park near the busy Metra/CSX/IHB triple tracks. The jewel in the park is the former Milwaukee Road B-12 tower which stood at the intersection of the former Milwaukee and Soo lines. infortunately we visited on a day that was fast reaching 100º so the photography was done at a fast pace before we melted. Definitely want to return to view things at a slower pace and enjoy the train traffic nearby!
