Album Info:On this day, NYCT 2109 (GMTX 2109) was out of service due to a cracked gear pan on a truck. NYCT leased Morristown & Erie #20 for the duration. When I revisited on May 1, 2009, NYCT 2109 was already back in service. It should be noted: New York Container Terminal (which is operated under the auspices of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey) has rather strict ban on photography of their premises, even from a public street. I asked for and received permission by the rail superintendent. Thanks Frank!
